February 24, 2008 - Lesson 22

Learning Outcomes: Genuine Listening requires a large amount of patience and you must show sympathy towards the speaker. You should show that you are listening and that you DO understand how they feel.

Family Reflections: I feel great and happy. It's lke pouring my heart out about my feelings, esp. when I'm sad. If I get a good grade, I feel proud to be telling my parents that good news. But when they don't listen, I feel frustrated and left out. I keep repeating and repeating, but they'll never listen. I then get extremely annoyed with them.
